Changing country opens its own geographic and data context. Territory, crop and scenario parameters are not transferred. Availability depends on each country’s release status.
Follow the current workflow, check how the admitted indicators are described and open their original sources. Climate, ET0, vegetation indices and irrigation scenarios remain outside this version.
Administrative map
Dated administrative geometry, simplified only for display. Map selection preserves other filters. The map shows ADM1; the national boundary uses a separate geometry version.

Quick start and navigation
| Action | How to use it |

| Main navigation | On a computer, use the menu on the left. On a narrow screen, open Menu, select a section and use Close or Escape to dismiss it. Changing language preserves compatible filters and the current section. |
| Profile and report | Choose the physical territory for land, soil and drought indicators. Choose the statistical territory, crop and year separately for agricultural statistics. These geographies are not automatically interchangeable. Each layer keeps its own date and coverage. |
| Crops and production | In Crops and production, select a statistical territory, crop and year, then Show selected data. Read the annual results and the history up to the selected year. A missing record is not a zero; the source's units, moisture basis and flags remain part of the result. |
| Geography comparison | In Land and terrain, Soils or Drought, choose a second territory in Territory comparison and show the data. The comparison table retains each territory's units, dates and valid support. Check these before interpreting a difference. |

| No matching data for the selected context | A recorded zero remains 0. No matching data means the chosen filters have no record in the saved source. Coverage states how much valid support is available. A section labelled not available has no admitted calculation in this version. After an error, return with valid filters and review them. |
Methods and interpretation limits
Each indicator retains its dataset, method, unit, observed period and source hash in the JSON report. Data coverage and use limitations accompany the results. These methods do not create a credit score or a farm-level measurement.

| Land and terrain | WorldCover 2021 v200 is not a 2026 crop map. Copernicus GLO90 is a surface model, not a guaranteed bare-earth terrain model. |
| Soils | SoilGrids 2.0: modelled 1 km means at explicit depths, not laboratory tests. Quantiles are absent. Mean pH describes the map, not chemical mixing. Soil area weights use native ESRI:54052 projected support, not EPSG:3035 areas. |
| Drought | CDI reports area shares of published classes, not mean codes. JRC's dry model bias warning for eastern Poland is retained. SWI is unavailable. |
| Crops and production | Statistical geography has its own Eurostat/NUTS code and is not automatically equated with ADM1. Values are not allocated to localities. Area and moisture definitions remain distinct. |
| Prices and costs | These source records describe national markets and electricity consumer bands, with periods, currencies and units shown per row. The territory, crop and climate filters from other sections do not filter these observations. These are not farm-specific prices. |

| Irrigation scenario | Irrigation scenarios are not available in this version. Rights to the parameter compilation and scientific admission must be completed before presets or user calculations can be offered. No irrigation requirement is calculated here. |

Limitations and conditions
- No overall risk score, probability of default or yield forecast is calculated.
- The ERA5 1991–2020 baseline is incomplete; comparability of all series is unconfirmed. Anomalies are unavailable.
- Land rights, abstraction permits and farm eligibility require separate documents.
- IUNG KBW and TerraScore P−ET0 are not automatically comparable. SMSR uses its own potential evapotranspiration method, six-dekad windows, soil categories and crop thresholds. Those thresholds are not applied to our results.
- Import, republication, transfer and commercial reuse conditions for specific IUNG datasets require confirmation. We claim no partnership, government endorsement or replacement of SMSR.
- This preliminary version contains selected land, soil and drought indicators, agricultural statistics and dated economic sources. Climate, ET0, vegetation indices and irrigation scenarios are not included.
